This Axial 48P Portal Gear Set includes a 26-tooth and 15-tooth portal gear pair for the UTB18 Capra's portal axles, providing the reduction ratio that gives the axle its extra ground clearance. As a heavy-duty replacement set, it's built to Axial's factory specification for proper mesh and durability under hard crawling loads.
Because it's a genuine Axial part engineered specifically for the UTB18's 48-pitch portal gear system, it's a direct-fit replacement using the same axle housing and bearing setup, with no other modifications required. It's the correct choice for rebuilding a portal axle after worn or stripped gears.
This is a functional repair part rather than a cosmetic upgrade, intended for UTB18 Capra owners doing portal axle maintenance or repairing gear damage. The set includes two portal gear sets per package.
