This Axial Aluminum Shock Body set includes two 11x43mm aluminum shock bodies built for the Capra 1.9 UTB and SCX10 III Base Camp platforms, replacing the stock plastic shock bodies with a more durable and precise aluminum alternative. Aluminum construction holds up far better to heat and pressure cycling than plastic, helping maintain consistent shock performance over repeated hard use.
Because it's a genuine Axial part engineered specifically for these platforms' shock specification, it's a direct-fit replacement using the vehicle's existing shock caps, shafts, and mounting hardware, without requiring any other modifications. Aluminum shock bodies are also less prone to cracking or splitting compared to plastic under heavy compression.
This is a functional durability upgrade rather than a cosmetic part, aimed at drivers who want more consistent, longer-lasting shock performance on their Capra 1.9 UTB or SCX10 III Base Camp. The set includes two aluminum shock bodies per package.
