Description
This Axial Portal Knuckle set includes left and right solid brass steering knuckles for the AF16P portal axles on the AXP8 Gilamon 2.2, each weighing 69.5 grams. Replacing the stock composite knuckles with solid brass shifts weight down low and out toward the wheels, improving the vehicle's center of gravity, front weight bias, and overall balance on technical crawling terrain.
Because it's a genuine Axial part engineered specifically for the AF16P portal axle design, it's a direct-fit replacement using the axle's existing mounting and steering linkage points, without requiring any other modifications. Brass construction also adds durability at a high-stress steering pivot point compared to the factory composite piece.
This is a functional performance upgrade rather than a cosmetic part, aimed at drivers who want improved stability and traction through added unsprung weight at the front wheels. The set includes one left and one right knuckle per package.
