Description
This Axial ASD Parts Set is the complete component package for adding ASD (Axial Selectable Drive) to the AF16 portal axles or AT6 transmission on the AXP8 Gilamon 2.2. ASD is Axial's advanced alternative to traditional cutting brakes, letting the rear axle lock either wheel individually for a tighter turning radius and sharper low-speed control on technical trails.
Since this is the complete parts set rather than a single component, it includes everything needed to add or rebuild the ASD system on a compatible AXP8 axle or transmission, matching the factory specification for proper fit and function. It's the right option both for repairing a worn ASD system and for builders adding ASD capability to a Gilamon that didn't originally include it.
This is a functional drivetrain upgrade rather than a cosmetic part, aimed at drivers who want the tighter maneuverability ASD provides on rock crawling terrain. Installation requires some drivetrain assembly experience; a full parts set is included per package.
