Description
This Axial Boulder 550 is a 21-turn, 550-size brushed motor built for higher torque and pulling power than a standard 540-size motor. The longer 550 form factor gives it more winding surface area, which translates into stronger low-end torque for climbing hills and grinding through technical trail obstacles, along with better heat handling during extended hard use.
It's a direct upgrade or replacement option for Axial crawlers that use a 550-size motor mount, giving drivers more low-speed pulling power without needing to change gearing or add a larger battery pack. The 21-turn winding strikes a balance between torque and speed, making it well suited to technical rock crawling rather than high-speed bashing.
This is a straightforward drop-in swap for a worn or underperforming stock motor, or an upgrade for drivers who want more consistent power on steep or technical terrain. One motor is included, and it works with typical ESCs used across Axial's brushed crawler lineup.
