Description
The ARRMA ARA330817 Ball End Set provides replacement ball ends used throughout the steering and suspension linkage on the ARRMA Kraton 6S platform, including the V6 and EXB versions.
Ball ends are the sockets that snap over the pivot balls at each end of a link or turnbuckle. They are what allows a link to swivel as the suspension cycles and the steering sweeps, while still holding position under load. Every steering link, camber link, and sway bar link in the vehicle depends on them.
These are among the fastest wearing parts on any RC vehicle, and they wear in a way that is easy to overlook. Rather than failing outright, the socket gradually opens up under repeated load until the ball no longer seats tightly. That play multiplies across every linkage in the vehicle, which is why steering that has gone vague and imprecise often traces back to tired ball ends rather than the servo, the rack, or the turnbuckles. In harder crashes they can also pop off the ball entirely or split at the socket.
Replacing them is inexpensive and restores the tight, direct feel the vehicle had when new. These are direct factory replacements that fit the stock links and pivot balls with no modification.
