Description
The ARRMA ARA330807 Hub Set is a genuine factory replacement front and rear hub set in the standard offset, fitting ARRMA GROM platform vehicles including the Typhon GROM and Granite GROM.
Hubs are the structural link between the suspension arms and the wheels. The front hubs, often called steering knuckles, pivot on the king pins inside the C-hubs and carry the steering angle to the front wheels. The rear hubs hold the rear axles at their fixed geometry. Together they set the wheel position and keep the axles running true, so their condition directly affects both steering feel and how evenly the tires wear.
These are moulded from tough composite material chosen for crash resistance rather than outright rigidity. That matters more than it sounds. A composite hub will flex and absorb a hard impact where a rigid part would transfer the load further into the suspension arm or axle, turning a cheap part failure into an expensive one. Precision moulding keeps the pivot bores accurate so the suspension cycles smoothly without binding.
Hubs take direct hits from curbs, rocks, and hard landings and are among the most commonly replaced suspension components. This set installs in the stock locations with no modification and includes two front hubs, two rear hubs, and four king pin screws.
