Description
The ARRMA ARA330802 Steel Turnbuckle set contains two M5x50mm turnbuckles for the ARRMA Mojave 4S 4X4 BLX desert truck (ARA4404). Turnbuckles are the adjustable threaded links that tie into rod ends at both ends and establish the suspension and steering geometry of the truck.
These are the longer M5 links in the Mojave 4S system. Like all turnbuckles they use opposing left and right hand threads, so the link can be lengthened or shortened by turning the center section with a wrench while both ends stay connected. That makes geometry changes fast and repeatable, and lets you fine-tune the truck between runs without disassembling the suspension.
The steel construction is what makes these links durable. At M5 diameter, steel resists the bending and thread damage that softer links suffer on a heavy 4S vehicle, and it holds its setting under load rather than flexing and allowing geometry to drift during a run. This set is a direct factory replacement for the turnbuckles originally fitted to the Mojave 4S and installs using the stock rod ends and hardware with no modification. Bent links are a common outcome of hard landings and rollovers, so keeping a spare pair on hand makes it easy to restore correct geometry. Two turnbuckles are included.
