Description
The ARRMA ARA330801 Steel Turnbuckle set contains two M5x35mm turnbuckles for the ARRMA Mojave 4S 4X4 BLX desert truck (ARA4404). Turnbuckles are the threaded suspension and steering links that connect to rod ends at each end and set the geometry of the truck.
These are the shorter M5 links in the Mojave 4S suspension system. The turnbuckle design uses opposing left and right hand threads, which lets you lengthen or shorten the link by turning the center section with a wrench without unbolting either end. That makes setup adjustments quick and repeatable, and it lets you dial in geometry between runs rather than pulling the suspension apart.
Steel construction is the reason these links survive. The M5 diameter combined with a steel body resists the bending and thread stripping that plagues lighter links on a heavy 4S truck, and steel holds its adjustment under load instead of flexing and letting the geometry wander mid-run. This set is a direct factory replacement for the turnbuckles fitted to the Mojave 4S and installs with the stock rod ends and hardware. Because bent links are a routine result of hard landings and rollovers, a spare pair on the shelf keeps setup consistent. Two turnbuckles are included.
