Description
The ARRMA ARA330748 Shock Set provides a pair of fully assembled 178mm big-bore shock absorbers for ARRMA's 1/5 scale 8S platforms, fitting the Kraton 8S BLX and Outcast 8S as the front shock set. When you're putting 8S power through a 30+ pound truck, the shocks do heroic work — and this set is built for exactly that duty.
Each shock features a 20mm bore with precision manufactured red anodized aluminum shock bodies, smooth polished stainless steel shock shafts, and tough composite molded parts. The 6mm thick shock shafts and heavy-duty rod ends deliver awesome durability under the hardest landings. The shocks come pre-filled with 700cSt silicone shock oil and fitted with 8-hole 1.4mm pistons, with threaded spring preload adjusters included for fine-tuning ride height.
Supplied assembled without springs, they're ready to bolt on to your vehicle after fitting your choice of spring — which means you can transfer your existing springs or tune with your preferred rate.
