Description
This ARRMA HD chassis brace set in the short configuration provides the replacement heavy-duty chassis bracing for the Notorious 6S BLX V6. Chassis braces tie the front and rear gearbox structures to the chassis tub, resisting the twisting loads that flex a chassis during hard launches, big landings, and rollover impacts.
The HD designation matters on a 6S truck: reinforced construction handles the torque of a 6S brushless system without allowing the flex that gradually works screws loose and lets drivetrain alignment wander. A properly braced chassis keeps the whole truck feeling tight and precise instead of vague.
Braces also serve as sacrificial structure in the worst crashes — a bent brace absorbed energy that would otherwise have gone into the gearbox cases or chassis tub. Inspecting braces after big hits and replacing bent ones is standard 6S maintenance.
