Description
This ARRMA front and rear composite upper gearbox cover set doubles as the shock towers on the 1/10 223S platforms — the gearbox upper cover and shock tower are molded as a single integrated part, which simplifies the build and removes a joint that would otherwise flex under load.
Because the towers carry the upper shock mounts, they take the full suspension load on every landing and the direct hit in any rollover. A cracked tower is one of the most common casualties on a hard-driven truck, and it usually shows up as a shock that's suddenly loose at the top or a truck that sits crooked at rest.
Both pieces are molded from tough composite material for long-lasting durability during extreme RC action, with multiple shock mounting positions that let you tune suspension geometry — moving the upper shock location changes the leverage ratio and shifts how the truck reacts to bumps and landings.
Fitment covers ARRMA 1/10 223S platforms including the Typhon, Granite, and Big Rock. The package includes one front and one rear gearbox upper cover with integrated shock tower.
