Not only are these very competitively priced, upon close inspection, they’re very nicely made. And they’re 7075 aluminum, which sealed the deal for me. I got these for a custom build I’m working on and really, I couldn’t be happier with my choice to get ‘em. I did strip the anodized finish from them as I was going for a raw metal look.
I read a review criticizing them for not being compatible with some other aftermarket parts from other brands. That doesn’t exactly seem like a fair criticism as it’d be nearly impossible for a company to predict which aftermarket parts someone might choose to use. As far as I’m concerned, these were exactly what I was looking for.
Fitment matched Traxxas, recommend for all.
Would have been a five star except for the fact that one of the rubber feet on the bottom of the case was broken off. Since I was able to repair it and glue it back on, I kept the case. I would have returned it damaged but I had already waited long enough for it to be delivered. I am thinking of buying another case provided it is not shipped via USPS .
