They are also a sacrificial part, absorbing the side impacts and rail slides that would otherwise reach the chassis plate itself.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThese rails are direct replacements for the ones supplied in the RC10SC7 Team kit and bolt on using the original screws and mounting locations, with no trimming or drilling needed. Replacing bent or cracked rails restores the chassis stiffness the truck was designed around and keeps the body sitting square, which matters as much for handling as it does for appearance.
